GRAPHITE HOT ZONE OIL QUENCH – DUAL CHAMBER FURNACE.
Dual Chamber vacuum furnace is quite versatile, designed for a wide range of heat treat applications. The oil quench module is combined with a heating module and an internal drive mechanism that provides for a fast, smooth transfer of the workload. Both the chambers are separated by an internal vacuum door to isolate the heating chamber from the oil quench chamber. Consequently, the heat chamber can remain at temperature and under vacuum during loading and unloading of the furnace. Maintenance to the heating chamber is simplified with the provision of a rear access door.
Cooling may be carried out in two ways: under gas quenching or in hardening oil quenching. Durable graphite insulation and heating elements provide long, reliable service in this heavy-duty furnace designed for industrial applications. The high-efficiency oil quenching has an agitation system that ensures excellent oil penetration through the workload which results in uniform and fast workload cooling. The gas system, power supply and cooling systems are sized to enable a wide range of industrial heat treatment implementations.
